Our firm Mini and Fowler – Architects, Engineers and Interior Planners can look back at a distinctive record of accomplishments in various platforms for Architecture, Condominium layouts and Interiors over the last two decades. The firm was established at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 2003 by Mini M Fowler under her own title and launched the firm by pioneering the design of retirement villas amidst a coconut plantation. Set in a background of the Western Ghats, the entirety of the village was founded on the concept of community-living for people who have entered their golden years. This project has also been awarded the Platinum Leed Award and an Eco Award for its green, environmentally conscious theme and its emphasis on sustainable living. Accomplishing this standard without compromising on the safety, privacy and dignity of their clients, the unique concept of community-living was developed. Which in turn, paved the way to a slew of other retirement projects, within city.
Restoration or renovation projects added an interesting dimension to the existing repertoire. The creative and innovative use and restoration of old spaces provide new value to these spaces. This piqued the firm’s interest and inspired them enough to continue the story where a link between the past and the present was laid out.
These major planning and design projects at various levels of work epitomize the flexibility and creative ability of the firm. The goal is to create intelligent and innovative solutions for any budget, successful in function, aesthetic and market arenas. While this may be the end to the mapping of our trajectory from the past, it is still only the beginning as the firm aspires toward exponential growth for the years to come.
